Dr. Hyun’s research featured in UTA newsletter, “UTA TAKES ON US LONELINESS CRISIS”. The news release focuses on the causes of chronic loneliness and social isolation encompassing mobility challenges, age, and socioeconomic status.
Farah and Utsav attended International Conference on Transport & Health (ICTH) 2019 in Melbourne, Australia, and presented three research projects.
The research group attended 11th annual Transportation and Communities Summit 2019. This annual event at Portland State University (PSU) in Portland, Oregon connects national mobility-focused research to local practice through breakout panel presentations, PechaKucha, posters, and networking between academics and practitioners. We presented five posters, one podium and two PechaKucha presentations!
